Yesterday we learned that for one goat this wasn't enough. When we went out to check on them he was shaking and while watching him for most of the day he did not urinate. After doing some online research I decided that he might have a blockage. This is often fatal in rumants. So we took a trip to the vet and Capone loved the car ride. Once at the vet Capone got a check up and it was determined that he was cold and dehydrated. We then had the choice of leaving him over night or taking him home and setting him up where we could watch his intake and output.
This morning we found many puddles all over the garage and knew that he was going to be just fine. He is now back out with the rest of the goats. This was a lesson in water for goats and knowing that they all
